Moms in Tech Announces Open Membership

After nine years, the doors to Moms in Tech are officially open, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome new members.
For most of that time, we've been invite-only. As the community grew, we made a deliberate choice to protect the culture and the trusted relationships that make this space what it is. Relying on referrals served us well, but it also meant we were probably missing moms who needed us and just hadn't found their way in yet.
That changes now. We're officially opening membership to general applications, and we're keeping it open. No more short windows. No waitlist. No referral required.
Moms in Tech was built on a simple belief: mothers belong at every level of the tech industry, and the right community can change the course of a career. We share job leads, swap advice, and open doors for each other. And maybe most importantly, we trust each other without judgment.
We recently asked members what Moms in Tech means to them, and the responses said it better than we could. Here are a few:
"I talk about how amazing this group is to other moms literally all the time -- it's become my gold standard of how online communities work and can actually help each other!"
"Love the endless source of knowledge, self development, and even entertainment coming from this fantastic group. The best support one can wish for."
"This is a trusted community for me, and when I’m looking for answers this is the community I come to first. It’s one of the only reasons I come on to Facebook."
"I love the diversity and how it is thoughtfully maintained as a safe place to discuss and share."
"Love that this is a place of support, uplifting not only on professional, but also on a personal level.”
This is exactly why we're opening our doors. We want more moms in tech to have what these members have. More voices, more perspectives, more people in your corner.
If you've been waiting for your moment to join, this is it. Whether you're just starting your first tech job, leveling up, or returning after a career gap, there's a place for you here. Apply now.
