New Features for Mints+

We are continuing the process of innovating and building out a fuller community experience for Mints and Mints+ members. Every new feature so far has been born from a challenge that is experienced inside the current community infrastructure (living inside Facebook). So today, I'm super excited to share Member Events & Talks!

Member Events & Talks: Celebrating & Promoting Your Events

For several years, we've hosted our own events and enabled members to share their expertise with the Moms in Tech community, but we never allowed members to self-promote and post their non-Moms in Tech events.

Today, this changes! Member Events & Talks is a new feature that allows our incredible community members to promote their external events: thought leadership, workshops, online content, speaking engagements, and more in a way that both is shared to the community itself AND out to the public. We will still not allow promotion of events that are primarily lead magnets intended to convert attendees into paying customers.

Best part, you'll be able to leverage momsintech.com's domain authority by having your name visible on the momsintech.com/events and momsintech.com/member-events pages.

You'll be able to submit your events from within the Mints+ Portal right here anytime, and they will be published after going through review. Plus, all you have to do is drop the event URL and we'll auto-grab as much information as we can for you so you don't have to manually type everything out yet again.

As we continue to build out Mints+ and momsintech.com, the goal is to create an experience that adds to the feeling of community and gives members access to new tools and networking capabilities that they couldn't previously access.
